Two-Day Art Event Downtown
The monthly Art Walk will be on Friday, March 5 from 6 to 10 p.m. It will be followed by the new Saturday Art Fair on March 6 in the Patio de Leon from noon to 4 p.m. The Friday Art Walk will include more than a dozen art stops and feature new art exhibitions, live music, and the traditional after party. Held the first Friday of every month from 6 to 10 p.m., Art Walk features local and national artwork in the downtown art galleries and several art stops in the Fort Myers River District. The evening culminates with an after party at 10 p.m. at Spirits of Bacchus on Hendry Street. The Saturday Art Fair will run from noon to 4 p.m. Local art vendors and artisans will be set up in the Patio de Leon selling their art. Galleries will be open and some galleries will be featuring free make-it-and-take-it art projects for the kids. Admission is free. Shell Point Art Show And Sale Open To Public

British Comedy Opens At Florida Rep
Florida Repertory Theatre’s next play is one of the funniest written by England’s favorite playwright, Alan Ayckbourn. It opens March 12 with discounted previews March 9, 10 and 11. Relatively Speaking is full of miscommunications, misunderstandings and mistaken identities. “We’re very excited to bring this play to life,” said Florida Rep Producing Artistic Director and the play’s Director Robert Cacioppo. “As far as comedies go, it doesn’t get any better than Relatively Speaking.
